President - Nicholas Nunn
Nick moved to the Portland Metro Area as a young child and was raised in the area until after high school when he moved to Idaho to attend college. After returning from college he worked in retail before beginning his career in law enforcement as a Reserve Officer with another Washington County agency. He began his full time law enforcement career as a Correction Deputy with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office for six years before joining the Tigard Police Department in 2006. Since joining the Tigard Police Department Nick has worked as a field training officer, a motor officer in the traffic division and as a school resource officer.
Vice President - Kevin Dresser
Kevin Dresser’s career with the Tigard Police Department has spanned over 30 years. Kevin first started with the Tigard Police Department during the fall of 1987 as an intern while attending classes at Portland Community College. In the spring of 1991, Kevin was hired as a reserve officer and held that position for approximately six years. Kevin was hired as a fulltime police officer in July of 1997. In December of 2000, Kevin was assigned to the investigations unit as a detective and remains in that unit at present time.
In addition to his duties as a detective with the Tigard Police Department, Kevin is also a senior member of the Washington County Major Crimes Team and is a negotiator/team leader with the Washington County Crisis Negotiations Unit
Secretary - Sue Garino
I moved to Oregon in 1994 from Northern California. After decades in the private sector I took a position as a 911 dispatcher in Clark County Washington in 2007. In 2008 I transitioned to a Police Records Specialist with Tigard Police Department. March of 2011, I moved to Property and Evidence Specialist. As of May 2016 I began my current position of Community Service Officer. After periods of being the Non-Sworn Member at Large, I am proud to represent as Secretary of TPOA.
Treasurer - April Keller
I have been with the Tigard Police Department for over 23 years. I was initially hired as a Records Specialist in July of 1996. I held the position briefly before transferring into Property and Evidence. In 2010, after 14 years of working in Property/Evidence, I changed career paths, applied for and became a sworn police officer, currently working as a patrol officer. Having had the opportunity to work both as a sworn and non-sworn employee with this Agency, I look forward to working with this Administration and representing TPOA members as Treasurer.
Sgt. at Arms - Brett Adamski
Brett has lived in the Portland Metro area his entire life, except for his service in the US Army as a military police officer. After returning home from the military Brett took a job with the papermill in Newberg for just over twenty years. After the papermill was permanently closed in November 2015, he was able to complete his degree in Criminal Justice for his future career. Brett joined the Tigard Police Department in November of 2016 and is currently in a patrol officer position.
